Buying clothes for your pet dog I am the proud owner of two dogs, a Maltese and a Japanese Spitz. I also sell pet clothings on Ebay. Here is one important tip to note when buying outfits for your beloved pooch. Pet clothing sizes in L, M or S are different in measurement by different manufacturers. Even if you know that your dog is a usual size M, it is always important to check the size chart of that particular design you are buying. There are two key measurements- the body length and the circumference around its tummy. Body length is from your dog's collar, to the start of its tail. However, don't worry if the outfit does not measure down to the tail. A few inches above looks great, too, and in case your dog is slim, the outfit will not hang too loosely.
